Wishes from Chick-fil-A in Mentor
In addition to those mentioned on the video (embedded below), Efford wanted to send out a special holiday wish to Al and Pat Kostrab. Pat is an employee who is dealing with the serious illness of a relative. Efford’s hopes are for the family to know that the Chick-fil-A staff is praying for them every day and that their thoughts are with them.
In regards to the store, Efford expressed his gratitude for the guests who have helped to make the year 2012 a good one.
“Christmas is a good time to reflect on these things, and we’re very grateful,” Efford said.

Next Wishing Tree open House is Monday
Plan to attend the open house — scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 17 — if you'd like to come in and create your own ornament, or record your wish on video. Bring the kids! The family-friendly event includes coffee, hot chocolate and cookies.
The open house is in The News-Herald's Community Media Lab, in our office at 7085 Mentor Ave., Willoughby.
